The Office of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor, in partnership with ILSTA, organised a consultation meeting in Luang Prabang to evaluate the implementation of laws of the People’s Prosecutors in the Northern Provinces over the year.
This important event brought together officials from all seven northern provinces of Laos, marking the first of three national meetings. The outcomes of these regional meetings will contribute to the report of the Supreme People’s Prosecutor, which will be presented to National Assembly.
During the meeting, ILSTA experts presented their insights on the implementation of the Law on the People’s Prosecutors and the Penal code.
The authorities shared their comments and recommendations on enhancing the dissemination and enforcement of the laws. This gathering provided a platform for fruitful discussion among the participants, aimed at improving the implementation of the laws and promoting justice in the Northern Provinces.
