Meeting with the Treaty and Law Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, regarding the submission by Lao PDR of a Post-Observation Period Report (POPR) in the context of its mutual evaluation regarding compliance with standards on AML/CFT

Lao PDR recently submitted a Post-Observation Period Report (POPR) in the context of its mutual evaluation regarding compliance with standards on AML/CFT.
Following this submission, ILSTA Luxembourg met with the Treaty and Law Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lao PDR, to restate its support in addressing international obligations and in providing technical assistance.
The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss and outline the upcoming activities between ILSTA and MoFA on pressing issues, including recent developments in international law and relations, in light of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed earlier this year between Lao PDR, LuxDev and ILSTA.
