Building a culture of lawfulness starts with strengthening our ethical values and the ability to act upon them.
For the second year, ILSTA organised a two-week summer course on “Ethics and Integrity” for 25 Lao university students in Vientiane in August 2023.
The 2-week course enhanced students’ ethical awareness and commitment to acting with integrity and equipped them with the necessary skills to apply these norms in life, work, and society.
The importance of ethical values, as outlined in the Doha Declaration Global Programme, was developed from the UNODC’s Education for Justice Module Series (E4J).
ILSTA plans to make an annual training event and expand its scope to include government actors.
